Exporting Automatic Sliding Gates to the Middle East & Africa
Automatic sliding gates offer an extremely effective, secure and space saving solution to restricted areas or both public and private car parks. The traditional swing gates, although offer the same end service are difficult to install in places which are restricted for space, not to mention are difficult to automate due to the swinging nature and pressure on the mechanism. These issues are eradicated when it comes to the automatic sliding gates as the operation works on a retracting concertina style system meaning there is no large out-swing issue, which generally causes major health and safety issues.
Our range of automatic sliding gates/barriers are powder coated to improve longevity and appearance. Generally speaking the installation of our range of automatic sliding gates is a straightforward process and can be achieved with nominal disruption to the area it will protect, whilst delivering extremely sturdy protection from completion.
With automation options designed to work as requested you can have complete control over the restricted area access with automatic sliding gates on a keypad, intercom or key fob entrance choice. Flexibility is key with any automatic security systems and our automatic sliding gates combine perfectly with any existing system or can act stand alone.
BSEN 12435 Compliant Automatic Sliding Gates
Total Secure Automation Ltd manufacture BSEN 12435 compliant, automatic sliding gates. Where the use of conventional swinging gates are not feasible due to space restrictions, the SA9000 automatic cantilevered sliding gate is an easy to install, ideal solution.
The standard round tube infill can be replaced by a variety of infill options including D or W profile palisade pales, timber panels, solid sheeting and various mesh panels to integrate perfectly with all fence types.
The SA9000 automatic cantilever gate has a manual release mechanism concealed within the lockable housing unit, allowing manual control of the gate in the event of a power failure. To aid in the safety aspect of the automatic cantilevered sliding gate, the portal is fitted with dual-height photo cells and rubber profile safety edges. The gate is operated by a programmable logic controller, operated via an inverter, which allows for programming of various parameters such as gate speed, passage timeout, automatic opening times, free exit loop operating times etc Proximity sensors mounted in the main portal read the moving gate leaf, indicating the start and end of the travel cycle. Towards the back of the gates opening area, a floor mounted support roller supports the weight of the gate in the fully open position. Anti-climb spikes are optional for gates over 1500mm high.
